August Music Student of the Month

Ethan Unruh uses his voice to sing in music class. He is in second grade at King Street Primary School in Danbury, Connecticut.

Tell us a little bit about yourself. Who nominated you? How long have you been playing your instrument?

I sing in Music class. I was nominated by my music teacher, Mrs. Esposito.

What has music and your program taught you?

To play instruments, make sounds. I sang a solo at our concert.

What is your favorite piece of music to play?

I like My Aunt Came Back and the song I had a solo in, the Hello song.

What do you like to do for fun? Do you have any hobbies?

Mostly staying at home and playing with my brother. I like to play with my friends.

What is your favorite subject in school? Why?

Math because you can do lots of things.

What are your plans for the future?

I want to have playdates with my friends and family.
